Try calling most peptide companies. See what happens.
You’ll get a generic voicemail. An auto-reply email that says “we’ll get back to you within 48 hours.” A contact form that goes nowhere. Maybe a chatbot that loops you through the same three scripted answers before giving up.
This is the norm in the research peptide industry. And it should bother you more than it does.
The customer service problem in research peptides
Most peptide suppliers operate like vending machines. You put money in, a package comes out (eventually), and if something goes wrong, you’re on your own.
No phone number on the website. No real name attached to anything. Support tickets that sit unanswered for days. Questions about a Certificate of Analysis? Good luck finding someone who can actually explain what you’re looking at.
This isn’t a minor inconvenience. Research-grade compounds require a certain level of trust between supplier and buyer. You need to know what’s in the vial, how it was tested, how to store it, and what to do if something doesn’t look right. That requires a conversation. Not a FAQ page.
Why we built ANKR differently
When we started ANKR Lab, we made one decision early: if someone has a question, a real person answers it. Not a bot. Not an outsourced call center reading from a script in a language they’re not comfortable in. A real, English-speaking team member based in the United States who actually knows the product line.
Our phone number is on the homepage. (877) 409-1110. You can also text us at (310) 807-6101. Our team is live Monday through Friday, and we run 24/7 chat on the site for everything else.
That might sound basic. It shouldn’t have to be a selling point. But in this industry, it is.
What our team actually helps with
This isn’t just “where’s my package?” support. Our team walks researchers through real questions:
Product selection. Not sure which compound fits your research protocol? We’ll talk through what you’re studying and point you to the right product, the right concentration, and the right quantity.
Handling & storage. Working with lyophilized research material? We can share general handling, storage, and documentation best practices.
COA interpretation. Every ANKR product ships with a Certificate of Analysis from an independent lab. If you want to understand what the HPLC purity results mean, what the endotoxin levels indicate, or how to cross-reference a lot number, we’ll explain it.
Order and shipping support. Tracking updates, delivery timelines, address corrections. Straightforward stuff, handled by people who can actually make changes in real time.
USA-based. English-speaking. Not negotiable.
Every compound we sell is sourced and manufactured in the United States. Our support team is domestic. Our lab testing is done by independent, US-based laboratories. There’s no ambiguity about where your product comes from or who you’re talking to when you call.
We do this because trust isn’t a marketing concept. It’s the baseline. If you can’t verify where a compound was made, who tested it, or reach a human being when something goes wrong, you don’t have a supplier. You have a gamble.
How to tell if a peptide company takes support seriously
If you’re evaluating suppliers, here’s what to look for:
Is there a phone number on the site? Not buried in a footer. Not hidden behind a contact form. An actual number you can call.
Do they respond within hours, not days? A company that takes 48 hours to answer a pre-sale question is telling you exactly how they’ll treat you after your card clears.
Can they answer technical questions? Ask about preparation ratios, storage temperatures, or purity testing methodology. If the answer is vague, they’re reselling product they don’t fully understand.
Is the team in the US? For research-grade compounds subject to US regulations, you want a team that operates under the same legal and quality framework you do.

The short version
We pick up the phone. We speak English. We know the products. We’re in the United States. And we think that should be the minimum standard for any company selling research-grade compounds, not a differentiator.
But here we are.
If you have questions about our products, our testing, or anything else, call us at (877) 409-1110, text (310) 807-6101, or reach out here. Someone real will answer.
