When we started sourcing research compounds and bioactive skincare ingredients, we kept running into the same issues. Suppliers with no third-party testing. Products where the actual concentration didn’t match the label. Companies that used “pharmaceutical grade” as a marketing term instead of a verifiable standard.
And on the skincare side, we saw “copper peptide” products listing the ingredient without specifying how much was actually in the formula. That’s like saying a coffee has caffeine without telling you whether it’s a shot of espresso or a cup of decaf. The ingredient isn’t the point. The concentration and delivery method are the point.
What ANKR Stands For
The name ANKR comes from “anchor.” It represents the idea of a stable baseline. A foundation you can trust. Whether you’re sourcing compounds for laboratory work or evaluating a supplier, the standard should be the same: verified purity, transparent labeling, and honest communication about what the product is and isn’t.
